The magic tool that I was so fascinated with. Ever since I was a little girl it was always my passion to bedazzle my very own outfits. And I was always encouraged by my mum who obviously shared the same passion as mine.
Arts was my most awaited subject at school. Not only did I complete the task given to me, I was often excited to complete my elder sister's art and project work as well, where creativity was involved. When we were little girls, we had this pact among us that, when she has a baby I will tutor her on art class and she will tutor my little one with maths (Yeah, I hated maths to the core and I still do - Thank god for the existence of excel and calculators)
Back to the magic tool - fabric glue. As much as I was in love with arts and creativity, the last thing I knew how to do was sew. Hence whenever it came to designing my outfits with patch, laces I had to often visit tailors to get the work done. However, more than often I was a little disappointed when the quality of the work did not meet my expectations.
That's when I came across this wonderful product that makes life so easy and simple. Fabric Glue is one of its kind that it replaces stitching in many areas. The usage is numerous or shall I say the sky is the limit. It can be used for sticking beads, sequins, lace, ribbon, applique, patch, foil, mirror work, glitter dust to fabric.
As long as the base is from fabric to fabric, this glue can be used. It does a wonderful job to giving your outfit a glamours touch. The only down-side to the glue is that, sometimes it would leave a stain at the back portion of your outfit. Hence please ensure to always use a towel at the base of the outfit while using the glue. Not only that, only use the glue if you do not mind having the back portion of your outfit being stained. (Personal opinion, who cares if the back portion of your outfit is stained? No one is going to see the inside but yourself :)
The application is very simple. Spread a thin coat of fabric glue on the applique. Place the applique on the fabric and let it set for 10 minutes. Press the applique and fabric together using light pressure for 10 seconds. Allow if to dry for 24 hours before use. Yes it's that simple!
